Biography
Dr. Omar M. Amin, M.Sc. in medical entomology, Ph.D. in Parasitology and Infectious Diseases , and DNM. Resaech experience at CDC Atlanta, Georgia and at NAMRU-3 (US Naval Medical Research Unit # 3) Cairo, He has received many awards and grants by US Army and national and state agencies annually. The Persian Gulf research was supported by 2 Fulbright Research Scholarships. He has published over 280 articles on human parasitology and wildlife agents of human diseases in North and South America, Africa , Persian Gulf, Middle East, Asia, Europe, and Mexico. His discoveries include the description of about 67 new species and higher taxa of parasites, and a new disease: Neuro-cutaneous Syndrome (NCS); a toxicity disorder. He has conducted many workshops and made a considerably larger number of presentations to various international and national scientific groups. He is currently the Director of the Parasitology Center, Inc. (PCI), and the Institute of Parasitic Diseases, Scottsdale, Arizona, USA at www.parasitetesting.com, with subunits in Mexico, U.K., and West Africa.

Biography
Dr. Yi Zhun Zhu is a Chair Professor of Pharmacology and dean of School of Pharmacy, Macau University of Science and Technology. Dr. Zhu got M.D./Ph.D. from Faculty of Medicine, University of Heidelberg, Germany in 1995. He joined as a faculty member of the Department of Pharmacology, National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1998 after postdoc training at Kiel University and industrial experience at Hoechst Marion Roussel (now Sanofil). Dr. Zhu published more than 180 peer-reviewed papers with more than 5300 citations and edited 2 books for his work. He is an editor-in-chief and associate editor or editorial board member 10 scientific journals Two novel his compounds as drug candidates (1 licensed out for 150 millions) have been completed pre-clinical trials and are running for clinical trials in US and China now.

Biography
Dr. Virendra Pandey received his Ph.D. in 1985 from the University of Mumbai at Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC), India. He served as Professor (Scientist-F) at BARC until 1994 and received the most prestigious Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar Award in 1991 for his research contribution in Life Sciences. He has published more than 90 research articles in reputed peer reviewed journals and has received continuous research funding from the National Institute of Health. Currently, he is a tenured senior faculty and a member of the Rutgers University Senate.

Biography
Neil Osheroff received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Northwestern University in 1979 followed by a Helen Hay Whitney Foundation postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Biochemistry, Stanford University School of Medicine. He currently is Professor of Biochemistry and Medicine in the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and holds the John G. Coniglio Chair in Biochemistry. He directs the Academy for Excellence in Education, spent a combined 27 years on the editorial boards of The Journal of Biological Chemistry and Biochemistry, chaired the NCI-I “Transition to Independence†study section, and has authored over 250 scientific and educational articles.

Biography
The research efforts of Dr. Oliver Chen are directed at elucidating health benefits of phytochemicals in the promotion of healthy aging. The scope of his work includes characterizing phytochemicals in plant foods and investigating their bioavailability, metabolism, and mechanism of actions by which they abate biological aging process. Further, he is exploring the interrelationship between nutrition and gut bacteria in gut and systemic health. He has published more than 110 scientific articles and serves on the editorial board of scientific journals. He was selected to receive the 2012 Mary Swartz Rose Young Investigator Award, sponsored by the American Society for Nutrition. He is a member of the American Society for Nutrition and American Chemical Society.
